An Arkansas native, and life-long dedicated volunteer, Michele loves working with children and teaching. She came to Hearts & Hooves from the non-profit world, having worked for the previous 8 years at a state-wide trade association. Raised by horse-loving parents, Michele spent a lot of time growing up trail-riding all over the country, and has always dreamt of owning her own ranch! She has a B.A. from Henderson State University, and is in the process of becoming PATH certified. She feels very honored to be part of such an amazing team!
Barn Manager & Volunteer Coordinator
Amanda initially joined Hearts & Hooves as a Feed Tech due to her strong love for horses and the outdoors. Her terrific work ethic helped her move up! Amanda's fun and outgoing personality is great with our horses, clients and volunteers. She works hard to keep the horses in top shape for their jobs, and to train and coordinate our volunteers for each client's lesson. We're so happy to have Amanda on our team!
