Michele Easter

Executive Director

An Arkansas native, and life-long dedicated volunteer, Michele has a passion for working with children and teaching. She has been with Hearts & Hooves since 2017. Raised by horse-loving parents, Michele spent a lot of time growing up trail-riding all over the country, and has always dreamt of owning her own ranch. She has a B.A. from Henderson State University, and has thousands of hours of teaching experience. Michele feels very honored to be part of such an amazing team!

Hippos & Fish Therapists

Stacy Alberson, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist/PATH Instructor

Stacy became a contract therapist at Hearts & Hooves in 2002, and along with her husband, Tory Alberson, owns Hippos & Fish Specialized Pediatric Therapy Services and Arkansas Lymphedema. Stacy has worked in the OT field since graduating from UCA in 1996, and treats both pediatric and adult populations. Stacy has been practicing hippotherapy through PATH since 2000, and became a PATH Registered Level Instructor in 2004.   Hearts & Hooves is proud to partner with Hippos & Fish to provide our hippotherapy program. Stacy uses many innovative therapies and techniques in her practice, and her knowledge and expertise is an incredible value to Hearts & Hooves, and the families served.

Leigh Ann Dreher - OT 

Occupational Therapist - MS, OTR/L 

Leigh Ann graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Teherapy in August 2012. Since graduation, she has worked in the preschool setting, specializing in ages 6 months to 5 years. She has experience treating clients with Down's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Encephalitis, Loey's-Dietz Syndrome, Prader Willi Symdrome and Developmental delay. She also has experience working with children with behavioral disorders including ADD / ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, consuct disorder, and PTSD. She is trained in Sensory Integration and pediatric self-regulation techniques.

Haley Riemenschneider - SLP

M.A., CCC-SLP

Haley obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders at Arkansas State University in May 2010. Following graduation, she practiced as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with pediatrics within a preschool setting ranging from 3 to 5 years of age. While gaining experience in her field of passion, she was accepted into a masters program at Louisiana Tech University where she graduated in May 2014 with a Masters in Speech Language Pathology. Since graduation, Haley has been practicing with pediatrics within a developmental center setting specializing in treatment of ages 18 months to 6 years. Haley believes in the outcomes of a multidisciplinary team of professionals that provide a holistic approach to intervention, which carry over into every day activities and routines. During Haley's professional work experience, she has furthered her education and training in oral-motor/feeding techniques and the Picture Exchange Communication System utilized as an augmentative means of communication. 

 

Haley lives in Little Rock with her husband Danny. She and Danny enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time with their family. Haley is excited to be apart of the team at Hippos and Fish who is dedicated to providing outstanding services that are life changing.
